Do I need to have a referral to be seen at your office?

For most insurances a referral is not necessary. If you contact our office, we will let you know if a referral is required.

What insurances do you take?

Our providers are credentialed with most major insurance plans. Here is a list of insurance companies with whom we participate. If you don’t see your plan listed, please call our office to verify. We may accept your plan even if it is not listed here:

What happens if I can’t make my scheduled appointment?

Our policy is for you to give 24 hours notice if you can not make your appointment as scheduled. We will gladly reschedule your appointment for another time. If you do not call and cancel the appointment, you will be subject to a “No Show” fee of $25.

What if I don’t have insurance?

We do see patients that do not have insurance, but a $175.00 self pay fee will be due prior to seeing the provider. We do offer financial agreements and payment plans for those situations that arise. If you pay your bill in full the day of your appointment we will give you a discount.

Where do the physicians operate?

Our physicians operate at University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center, in La Plata, and Surg Center of Southern Maryland, in Clinton.

Who do I call for Medical Records?

Call our main number and select option 5. Leave a message for our Medical Records coordinator and she will prepare your records and return your call. There is a $25 fee for Medical Records.

Who do I call for Prescription refills?

Call our main number and select option 4. Leave a message for our clinical staff and they will discuss your request with your provider and call you back. Please allow 24 hours to process your prescription request.

Who handles the Lawyer and Workman’s Compenstion requests?

Call our main number and press option 3 to contact our staff that handles these requests.

How long does it take to get a form completed?

We request 10-14 days to complete most forms. There is a $10.00 charge for forms.

Do you see Workman’s Compensation and Auto patients?

We will see WC patients. You can not schedule an appointment until you have the following information:

  • Claim number
  • Name of insurance company and address
  • Name of case worker
  • Phone and fax number of case worker
  • Date of injury
